Regulations regarding amendments to Finansinspektionen's Regulations and General Guidelines governing insurance mediation (FFFS 2009:2)
Finansinspektionen issued these amendments to update the knowledge requirements for insurance mediators, life assurance intermediaries, and fund unit advisors under FFFS 2005:11. The regulations mandate specific proficiency tests for mediators and establish minimum professional indemnity insurance coverage levels based on the number of insured persons. These changes were decided on 20 April 2009 and entered into force on 15 May 2009.
