Instruction No. 002-DCR/08 of December 22, 2008 on the Central Bank's Policy Rate
The Central Bank, directed by Governor Frédéric Rasamoely, has reduced its policy rate from 12.0 percent to 10.0 percent, effective January 2, 2009. This change is formalized in Instruction No. 002-DCR/08, which mandates the updated rate for all central bank monetary operations.
