Decree No. 14 of 2022 on the Implementation of Security Council Resolutions
Issued by the President of the State of Palestine and Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee, this Decree establishes the Committee for the Implementation of Security Council Resolutions to enforce UN sanctions related to terrorism and weapons of mass destruction proliferation. The legislation defines key legal terms, outlines the Committee's composition and powers, and mandates strict procedures for the national listing, delisting, and freezing of assets for designated persons and entities. It further requires financial institutions and non-financial businesses to comply with targeted financial sanctions, disseminate updated UN and national lists within 16 hours, and report relevant measures to the Security Council.
