The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina amends the rules for calculating mandatory reserves by defining them as average daily reserves held as cash deposits over a ten-day period. Banks must now include their funds in the instant payment system of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IPS BiH) in their reserve calculations and report the daily balance of these funds at 4 PM. These amendments enter into force the day following publication in the Official Gazette and apply retroactively from July 20, 2026.
