Regulations amending Finansinspektionen’s regulations regarding special supervision of financial conglomerates
Finansinspektionen issued regulations amending Chapter 3, Section 4 of its guidelines on the special supervision of financial conglomerates to align with EU prudential requirements. The amendment mandates that financial conglomerates using the consolidation method must adjust capital requirements to ensure undertakings are included at the same proportion in both the conglomerate’s capital requirements and its own funds. These regulations enter into force on 01 January 2025.
