2019-08-05 | Règlement BCL 2019/N°26Added · Updated
The Central Bank of Luxembourg amends its 2014 Regulation to align with ECB decisions removing Greece and Cyprus from the list of euro area member states subject to an EU/IMF program. The amendment deletes Article 1(3) and Article 6, removes Article 8(3) and Article 9(2), and eliminates Annexes I and II. It replaces Article 8(2) to establish that the Eurosystem credit quality threshold does not apply to negotiable debt securities issued or fully guaranteed by central administrations of euro area member states under an EU/IMF program, provided the ECB Governing Council considers the state compliant with financial support conditions.
