The Central Bank of Jordan mandates licensed banks to report information security incidents immediately using an attached form. The Bank will anonymize these reports and forward them to the Jordanian Banks Association, which will disseminate the information to relevant bank personnel and a specialized committee to issue necessary recommendations. This circular reinforces the existing obligation under Instruction No. (8/2001) to notify the Central Bank of any internal or external breaches of information systems as they occur.
