Regulation on the procedure of issuing by banks of permissions to export funds from the Republic of Moldova
The Council of Administration of the National Bank of Moldova approved this regulation to establish the procedure for licensed banks to issue permissions allowing legal entities to export cash and traveler's cheques. The document mandates that banks verify requests from empowered persons, ensuring permissions do not exceed EUR 50,000 and are issued only upon the provision of funds from the entity's account. Licensed banks are further required to maintain a detailed manual or electronic Register of all issued permissions to ensure accurate record-keeping and regulatory compliance.
