Circular LISOL 1 - 181. Minimum liquidity requirements. Requirement on remunerated demand deposits

Financial entities must integrate a minimum liquidity requirement of 80% for remunerated demand deposits when remuneration exceeds the B.C.R.A. savings rate by more than one point, effective February 1, 1998, replacing Communication "A" 2618. Daily admitted concept balances must not fall below 60% of the preceding month’s total requirement. Admitted assets include foreign market titles held at Deutsche Bank, New York, and local securities with put options exercisable within 90 days at banks rated A or higher, provided contracts are notified to and custodied at Deutsche Bank, New York.
