Decision on the Issuance, Basic Features, and Circulation of Additional Quantities of Convertible Mark Banknotes in Denominations of 50 KM and 100 KM

The Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision on May 8, 2002, authorizing the release of additional 50 KM and 100 KM banknotes into circulation. These notes, featuring designs from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, are mandated to bear the 2002 printing year and specific security features including a 1.00 mm non-fluorescent metallic thread. The banknotes were scheduled for circulation starting April 1, 2002, in accordance with inventory and issuance plans managed through the Central Bank's main units and branches.
