Order No. 2025/071/PR/MI on the Appointment of Members of the Technical Committee for Combating Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction
The President of the Republic of Djibouti, acting as Head of Government, issued Order No. 2025/071/PR/MI to formally appoint twenty-one members to the Technical Committee for Combating Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction. The Order defines the Committee's composition, mandates it to implement Decree No. 2024-314/MI and support the National Coordination Committee, and establishes its operational framework including bi-monthly meetings, a secretariat under the Financial Intelligence Agency, and national budget funding. It further stipulates that the Committee must submit annual reports to the Coordination Committee and ensures its decisions carry binding weight for executing government anti-financial crime policies.
