Responsibility for information Directors, managers, and employees responsible for the preparation or review of accounting information will be liable for errors, omissions, and irregularities contained therein. Information received by the Financial System Superintendence may be modified within the established deadline for its presentation; once this deadline has expired, it will be considered definitive; however, societies may request the respective substitution, justifying it appropriately. Notwithstanding being authorized to do so, the information will be considered received out of deadline for the pertinent legal effects. (1) Account balances to be sent to the Financial System Superintendence include accounts up to ten digits. When this entity requires it, it may request greater disaggregation of the accounts. III. INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING STANDARDS Societies must maintain their accounting based on International Accounting Standards, using the most conservative option when the Standards Committee of the Central Bank has not expressed itself on one of the permitted options. In the event that the phenomenon, transaction, or accounting operation is not specifically regulated by said Standards or by the interpretations emanating from the Interpretations Committee thereof, the accounting must be carried out in accordance with International Accounting Standard No. 1.
