The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago requires brokerages to submit specific documentation to the Inspector of Financial Institutions by February 01, 2021 if they administer self-insurance on behalf of an entity. The required submissions include the name of the entity, the administration agreement, and supporting documents such as policy forms for employees. Failure to comply with Section 112(12) of the Insurance Act, 2018 constitutes an offence subject to further regulatory action.
