The Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit announces specific tax incentive amounts for the sale of gasoline in the border zones with the United States for the period from August 16 to August 22, 2025. The incentives vary by municipality and distance from the international border, ranging from zero for Tijuana and Playas de Rosarito to up to $4.550 for gasoline with less than 91 octanes in Coahuila. The agreement applies to two categories of gasoline: those with less than 91 octanes and those with 91 octanes or more, across seven designated zones in Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas. This agreement enters into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
