Agreement extending the validity of the agreement between the Federal Government and the State of Sonora for the temporary importation of vehicles
The agreement extends the validity of the 2005 convention between the Federal Government and the State of Sonora regarding the temporary importation of vehicles until December 31, 2025. This extension maintains the facilitation of procedures for foreigners and Mexican residents abroad to temporarily enter vehicles into Sonora without requiring a bond or deposit, provided the vehicles circulate exclusively in the Northwest region of the state. The agreement entered into force the day after its signing on December 19, 2024.
