Amending Circular 21/19 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular
The National Insurance and Sureties Commission updates the measurement tranch K for capital requirements regarding asset-liability mismatch in Annex 6.5.7 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular, setting the value to 30 years. This adjustment reflects the availability of a 30-year UDIBONO issued by Banxico, allowing insurance institutions to better match liabilities with guaranteed-yield assets. The modification enters into force on June 30, 2020.
