Amending Circular 9/22 of the Single Circular on Insurance and Sureties
The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties amends Annexes 34.1.21-b and 34.4.3 of the Single Circular on Insurance and Sureties to publish updated information regarding registrations, cancellations, and legal status changes of foreign reinsurers in the General Register of Foreign Reinsurers, as well as the list of their representation offices in Mexico. The amendments specifically record the registration of Aspen American Insurance Company, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions America Insurance Corporation, and Seguros G&T, alongside updates to the composition of the British, Czech, and Spanish Pools. Additionally, the annex lists 18 foreign reinsurers operating representation offices in Mexico as of August 31, 2022, noting the merger of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Ltd with Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd. This circular entered into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation on September 12, 2022.
