The resolution amends the second transitional article of the January 23, 2018 resolution to extend the effective date for specific Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIFs) issued by the Consejo Mexicano de Normas de Información Financiera. The affected standards include B-17, C-3, C-9, C-16, C-19, C-20, D-1, D-2, and D-5, which are now required to enter into force on January 1, 2025. This change applies to popular financial societies, community financial societies, and rural financial integration organizations, allowing them additional time to adapt their accounting information systems. The resolution itself entered into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation on December 27, 2023.
