Amendment to Foreign Currency Accounts for Shipping Lines, Airlines, and Freight Forwarders Handling FOB Cargo
Paragraph 03 of F.E. Circular Letter No. 03 is amended to prohibit outward remittances supported by encashment certificates against FOB exports. This prohibition takes effect from January 2016. The instruction applies to all Authorized Dealers of Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh.
