BOARD OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
177 On amending the Regulation on measures and sanctions applied by the Central Bank to commercial banks for violations of banking legislation and regulatory acts governing banking activities

In accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan” (Official Gazette of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1995, No. 12, p. 247) and “On Banks and Banking Activities” (Official Gazette of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1996, No. 5-6, p. 54), the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan resolves:
Amend the Regulation on measures and sanctions applied by the Central Bank to commercial banks for violations of banking legislation and regulatory acts governing banking activities, approved by the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 26 December 1998 No. 74 (registration No. 622 of 5 February 1999) (Bulletin of normative acts of ministries, state committees and departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2000, No. 10), in accordance with the annex.
This resolution shall enter into force ten days after its state registration with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

“1.1. This Regulation, in accordance with Article 53 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan” (Official Gazette of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1995, No. 12, p. 247) and the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Banks and Banking Activities” (Official Gazette of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1996, No. 5-6, p. 54), defines the procedure for the application of measures and sanctions by the Central Bank to commercial banks for violations of banking legislation and regulatory acts governing banking activities.”
the third and fourth subparagraphs shall be rendered as follows:
“a) non‑compliance with the requirements specified in paragraph 130 of the Regulation on Exchange Points (registration No. 2183 of 17 January 2011) (Collection of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2011, No. 3, p. 28);
b) detection of an excess or shortage of strict‑reporting forms, foreign currency or other valuables”;
the fifth subparagraph shall be omitted.
