The decision amends eight existing regulatory texts by inserting wording that explicitly includes micro‑finance banks (referred to as “banks” in the text) in definitions and requirements covering corporate governance, mortgage‑loan limiting conditions, internal audit, accounting policy and financial reporting, risk‑management systems, audit procedures and qualification certificates, and interest‑rate calculation. It also adds the phrase “micro‑finance banks” after the word “banks” in the fourth paragraph of article 1 of the regulation on the special legal regime in financial services. The amendments apply to all commercial banks and micro‑finance banks under the Central Bank’s jurisdiction and become effective on the day of official announcement.
