The Central Bank of Uzbekistan amends the Regulation on Requirements for Internal Rules of Commercial Banks by replacing the term 'regulatory documents' with 'internal rules' throughout the text. The amendments mandate that commercial banks develop internal rules to ensure effective internal control, risk management, and compliance with banking legislation. These rules must undergo legal expertise, be approved by the board of directors or management, and be submitted to the Central Bank within 15 days of approval. The Central Bank is authorized to issue binding instructions to correct or revoke non-compliant internal rules during supervision.
