Amendments to the List of Qualified Auditors for Licensed Commercial and Specialised Banks
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issued Circular No. 01 of 2024 to update the official roster of auditors authorized to review accounts for licensed commercial and specialised banks. This directive replaces entries (iv) and (v) in Section 2.1, formally recognizing Deloitte Partners and Deloitte Associates following their respective name changes from PricewaterhouseCoopers and SJMS Associates. The revised designations take immediate effect, ensuring uninterrupted regulatory compliance for banking sector financial audits.
