On Amendments to the Regulation on the Procedure for Providing Assistance Funds by the Central Bank to Commercial Banks for Purchasing Cash Foreign Currency from Individuals

This decision has lost its force based on the Decision of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 13, 2019, No. 30/12 "On Recognizing Certain Normative Legal Documents Adopted by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan as Lost in Force" [Decision](/docs/4675340?ONDATE=30.12.2019 00#4676404) (registration number 3208, dated 30.12.2019).

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5296 dated January 9, 2018 "On Measures for Fundamental Improvement of the Activity of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan" Decree, the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan decides:

1. Amendments shall be made to the Appendix to the [Regulation](/docs/3312468?ONDATE=21.08.2017 00#3312519) on the Procedure for Providing Assistance Funds by the Central Bank to Commercial Banks for Purchasing Cash Foreign Currency from Individuals, approved by the Decision of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 12, 2017, No. 19/2 (registration number 2912, dated August 16, 2017) (Collection of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2017, No. 33, Article 867).

2. This decision enters into force from the date of its official publication.

Appendix

to the Decision of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 15, 2018, No. 39/21 Decision

Amendments to be Made to the Regulation on the Procedure for Providing Assistance Funds by the Central Bank to Commercial Banks for Purchasing Cash Foreign Currency from Individuals

1. In the first sentence of clause 6, the words "Guidelines on Organizing Monetary Operations of Banks in the Republic of Uzbekistan (registration number 1518, October 26, 2005)" shall be replaced with "Guidelines on Organizing Cash Monetary Operations of Banks in the Republic of Uzbekistan (registration number 3003, May 1, 2018)".

2. In the second sentence of sub-clause 'b' of clause 8, the words "Head of the Department for Regulation and Monitoring of Monetary Operations, Emission-Cash Operations Department (Directorate)" shall be replaced with "Department for Organizing Cash Monetary Operations".

3. In the first sentence of clause 18, the words "Emission-Cash Operations Department (Directorate)" shall be replaced with "Department for Organizing Cash Monetary Operations".

4. In clauses 24 and 27, the words "Department for Regulation and Monitoring of Monetary Operations" shall be replaced with "Department for Organizing Cash Monetary Operations".
