Amendments to the Tourism Sector Support Initiative Parameters
The Cabinet approved amendments to the tourism sector support initiative, authorizing the use of remaining funds from the 50 billion pounds allocation after the application registration period ended on April 20, 2026. Registered but unactivated amounts may be utilized through the Central Bank of Egypt's system within six months ending October 20, 2026. The credit limit for each company is capped at 2 billion pounds for a single client and 4 billion pounds for a single client with related parties, subject to joint approval from the Ministers of Finance and Tourism and Antiquities for the higher limit.
