May 7, 2026
The AMF decided to extend, on July 4, 2025, the updated "Provisions" of the AFG regulation on professional ethics for third-party asset management, which it had previously approved, to all financial institutions (PSI), non-members of the AFG, that conduct third-party asset management activities (collective investment management and/or portfolio management for third parties), with the exception, for PSIs other than asset management companies (SGP), of the provisions of said regulation related to the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, regarding which the AMF is not competent with respect to these actors, and for which PSIs other than SGP must refer to provisions falling under the competence of the ACPR.
