Appendix 1: Quantitative and Qualitative Disclosures Required for Compliance with IFRS 7

The Central Bank of Jordan mandates banks to adjust accounting policies and provide specific qualitative and quantitative disclosures to comply with IFRS 9. Banks must disclose risk management frameworks, stress-testing methodologies, and definitions for impairment, while providing detailed tables reconciling opening balances for 2018 under IFRS 9. The directive requires granular reporting on Expected Credit Losses (ECL) across individual and collective stages for central bank balances, interbank deposits, and corporate, SME, and consumer lending portfolios.
