Application of Uniform Rules for Collections for Documentary Collection
Authorized Dealers in Bangladesh are advised to observe the latest version of the Uniform Rules for Collections (URC) published by the International Chamber of Commerce when executing admissible import or export transactions on a documentary collection basis. This guidance supplements existing requirements for Authorized Dealers to follow UCP 600 rules for Letters of Credit and allows for alternative payment methods such as cash in advance, documentary collection, and open account for permissible trade transactions.
