Approval of External Auditors

Every licensed insurer, excluding captive and marine mutual insurers, must appoint an auditor annually and seek MAS approval prior to appointment. Applications must be submitted to MAS no later than one month before the proposed appointment date. This guidance replaces Circular No. ID 08/18, which is cancelled with immediate effect.
