Authorization for Banco Internacional de Costa Rica, S.A. to Establish a Representation Office in Mexico
The National Banking and Securities Commission authorizes Banco Internacional de Costa Rica, S.A. (BICSA) to establish a representation office in Mexico City under the name "Banco Internacional de Costa Rica, S.A., Oficina de Representación en México." The authorization is subject to supervision by the Commission, is non-transferable, and requires BICSA to commence operations within six months of notification after submitting a prior report. The representative, Christian Sommerhalder, may face revocation if he loses eligibility characteristics or provides false data.
