Regulation on the Capital and Technical Reserves of a Pension Management Company Managing Voluntary Pension Funds – Unofficial Consolidated Text (NN, Nos. 68/14, 41/17, 112/19, 146/22 and 52/24)

The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) issues this Regulation to establish the calculation methodology, minimum amounts, and reporting obligations for the regulatory capital and technical reserves of pension management companies managing voluntary pension funds. It mandates that these entities maintain capital levels based on paid-in share capital, retained earnings, and reserves, while deducting illiquid assets, unrealized losses, and non-compliant financial holdings. The rules further specify submission deadlines, audit requirements by independent external auditors, and distinct capital adequacy thresholds for companies managing closed defined-benefit funds.
