Instruction No. 007-DPM/25 Amending and Completing Provisions on the Policy Rate and Interest Rate Corridor System of Banky Foiben'i Madagasikara
The Governor of Banky Foiben'i Madagasikara issued Instruction No. 007-DPM/25 to amend and supplement Articles 4 and 5 of Instructions No. 003-DOM/25 and No. 005-DOM/25 governing the central bank's policy rate and interest rate corridor system. The updated operational framework adopts an asymmetric corridor, fixing the marginal lending facility rate at 1.0 percentage point above and the deposit facility rate at 4.0 percentage points below the policy rate. All contrary provisions are repealed, with full implementation commencing on October 8, 2025.
