The Saudi Founding Day Holiday for 1446 H
The Saudi Central Bank issued this circular to designate Sunday, 24/8/1446 H (23 February 2025 G), as an official Founding Day holiday for entities under its supervision. Banks, exchange houses, and payment service providers must open designated branches at airports and border crossings during the holiday, operate for specified periods, and notify the Central Bank of branch names and working hours while publicly announcing these arrangements. This directive implements Royal Order No. 371/A and exercises the Central Bank’s statutory authority to determine holidays and operating hours for regulated financial institutions.
