Bank of Latvia issues two licenses to Nodu Digital SIA
The Bank of Latvia's Supervision Committee issued two licenses to Nodu Digital SIA on July 8: one for providing crypto-asset services and another for payment institution operations. The crypto-asset license permits services like crypto-asset transfers on behalf of clients and exchange for funds, while the payment institution license allows non-cash money transfers. Nodu Digital SIA is the tenth company licensed by the Bank of Latvia under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), which established a unified EU legal framework for the crypto-asset industry at the end of 2024.
