Bank of Zambia Circular 10/2015 ZIPSS Operating Rules
The Bank of Zambia issued Circular 10/2015 to mandate immediate compliance with revised operational rules for the upgraded Zambia Interbank Payment and Settlement System (ZIPSS). All commercial banks must implement straight-through processing, establish business continuity measures, and adhere to applicable SWIFT message formats. Non-compliance with these immediately effective requirements will result in penalties under Section 43 of the National Payment Systems Act.
