Banks Act Circular 5/2006: Training of Bank Directors
The South African Reserve Bank’s Registrar of Banks issued this circular to address the lack of a uniform training programme for bank directors. It requires all chief executive officers to submit detailed information regarding director induction, continuous training, and demographic data by 12 May 2006. The submission must include attendance records for the past two years and be sent to Mr Eugene Bates at the specified email address.
