Provides for the submission of information regarding social, environmental, and climate risks covered by Resolution No. 4,557, of February 23, 2017, and CMN Resolution No. 4,945, of September 15, 2021, as well as BCB Resolutions Nos. 265, of November 25, 2022, and 331, of June 27, 2023. The Collegiate Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on October 6, 2021, based on the provisions of Articles 10, item IX, 11, item VII, and 37 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, and considering the provisions of Resolution No. 4,557, of February 23, 2017, and CMN Resolution No. 4,945, of September 15, 2021,
**RESOLVES:**
**Art. 1.** This Resolution provides for the submission of information regarding social, environmental, and climate risks by financial institutions and other institutions authorized to operate by the Central Bank of Brazil, classified in Segment 1 (S1), Segment 2 (S2), Segment 3 (S3), or Segment 4 (S4).
**§ 1.** The provisions of this Resolution apply to all prudential conglomerates classified in S1, S2, S3, or S4, as established in Resolution No. 4,553, of January 30, 2017, and all prudential conglomerates classified in S2, S3, or S4, as established in BCB Resolution No. 197, of March 11, 2022. **Art. 2.** The institutions mentioned in Art. 1 must submit to the Central Bank of Brazil information regarding the assessment of social, environmental, and climate risks of their exposures in credit operations and securities, and of their respective debtors.
**§ 1.** The information referred to in the **main text** comprises:
I - identification;
II - economic sector;
III - risk aggravators and mitigators;
IV - outstanding balance;
V - social risk assessment;
VI - environmental risk assessment;
VII - climate risk assessment;
VIII - information on the classification of the exposure to the concepts of social nature, environmental nature, and climate nature defined in the current regulation regarding the Social, Environmental, and Climate Responsibility Policy (PRSAC);
IX - information on the emission, neutralization, and absorption of greenhouse gases; and
X - location.
**§ 2.** The information must be provided by the institutions mentioned in the **main text** in accordance with their Social, Environmental, and Climate Responsibility Policy (PRSAC) and must follow the criteria defined in the current regulation regarding the risk management structure.
**Art. 3.** The information referred to in Art. 2 must be calculated with a base date of the last day of June and December and must be submitted semi-annually:
~~I - by the lead institution of each conglomerate, to the institutions belonging to the same conglomerate, in accordance with the consolidation adopted for the calculation of Reference Equity; and~~

**§ 2.** Subject to the schedule of Art. 4, the information referred to in the **main text** must be prepared and submitted starting from the first base date on which the institution authorized to operate by the Central Bank of Brazil is in effective operation. **Art. 4.** The information referred to in Art. 1 must be submitted observing the following schedule:
I - starting from the December 2022 base date, by institutions classified in S1;
II - starting from the June 2023 base date, by institutions classified in S2;
III - starting from the December 2023 base date, by institutions classified in S3; and
IV - starting from the June 2024 base date, by institutions classified in S4.
**Art. 5.** The director responsible for the social, environmental, and climate responsibility policy is responsible for providing the information referred to in this Resolution.
**Sole Paragraph.** The data regarding the director designated under the **main text** must be registered and kept updated in the Central Bank of Brazil's registration information system.
**Art. 6.** The Central Bank of Brazil will establish the operational procedures, the form, the deadline for submission, and the other conditions necessary to comply with the provisions of this Resolution.
**Art. 7.** This Resolution enters into force on July 1, 2022.
