BCB Resolution No. 215 — Revokes Circulars Regarding Rural Credit and the Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program

BCB Resolution No. 215 revokes Circulars No. 2,188 of June 19, 1992; No. 3,267 of December 15, 2004; No. 3,423 of December 12, 2008; and No. 3,464 of August 13, 2009, which previously regulated rural credit and the Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program. This action fulfills the revision and consolidation of normative acts below the level of decree as required by Decree No. 10,139 of November 28, 2019. The resolution enters into force on May 2, 2022.

NO. 215, OF MARCH 30, 2022

Revokes
Circulars regarding rural credit and the Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program, to comply with the revision and consolidation of normative acts below the level of decree as provided for in Decree No. 10,139 of November 28, 2019.

The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on March 30, 2022, based on Art. 9 of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, and considering Art. 5 and item I of Art. 6 of Law No. 4,829 of November 5, 1965, and Arts. 5 and 6 of Decree No. 10,139 of November 28, 2019,

RESOLVES:

Art. 1
The following are revoked:

I - Circular No. 2,188 of June 19, 1992;

II - Circular No. 3,267 of December 15, 2004;

III - Circular No. 3,423 of December 12, 2008; and

IV - Circular No. 3,464 of August 13, 2009.

Art. 2
This Resolution enters into force on May 2, 2022.
