BCB RESOLUTION NO. 36, OF NOVEMBER 4, 2020

Amends Circular No. 3,953, of July 10, 2019, which institutes the standardized identification of credit operations in the transmission of information to the Credit Information System (SCR), as provided for in Resolution No. 4,571, of May 26, 2017, and in all records that identify credit operations, carried out in entities authorized to exercise the activities of registration or centralized deposit of financial assets and securities.

The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on November 4, 2020, based on Arts. 10, item IX, and 37 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, Arts. 22, item II, 26, § 4th, and 28, item II, of Law No. 12,810, of May 15, 2013, Art. 9th, items II and VIII, of Law No. 12,865, of October 9, 2013, Art. 106 of Law No. 13,097, of January 19, 2015, and considering Resolutions Nos. 4,088, of May 24, 2012, and 4,571, of May 26, 2017, and Circulations Nos. 3,743, of January 8, 2015, and 3,870, of December 19, 2017,

R E S O L V E:

Art. 1st Circular No. 3,953, of July 10, 2019, shall be effective with the following changes:

II - from the month of May 2021: in all records that identify credit operations carried out in entities cited in the sole paragraph of Art. 1st of this Circular.

§ 1st The transmission of the information referred to in item I of the caput of this article is admitted from the reference date of May 2020, under an assisted production regime.

§ 2nd The recording of the information referred to in item II of the caput of this article is admitted, optionally, from the month of December 2020.” (NR)

Art. 2nd The sole paragraph of Art. 3rd of Circular No. 3,953, of 2019, is hereby revoked.

Art. 3rd This Resolution enters into force on December 1, 2020.
