This resolution amends Resolution BCB No. 96/2021 to impose specific requirements on post-paid payment accounts, including mandating at least three billing date options with a minimum seven-day difference and standardizing invoice content into highlighted, payment alternative, and supplementary information groups. It requires institutions to provide clear comparisons of financing costs, notify account holders of billing dates and consequences of non-payment via electronic channels, and allow credit limit reductions within two business days. The rules also govern credit limit compatibility assessments and the portability of credit, with the regulation entering into force on July 1, 2024.
