Amends
Circular No. 3,614, of November 14, 2012, which provides for the conditions for the issuance of Real Estate Credit Letters.
The Collegiate Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on May 8, 2025, based on arts. 10, caput, item VI, of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, and 12 of Law No. 10,931, of August 2, 2004,
R E S O L V E :
Art. 1º The Circular
No. 3,614, of November 14, 2012, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on November 19 of 2012, shall enter into force with the following alterations:
“Art.
8º Commercial banks, multiple banks with real estate credit portfolios, Caixa Econômica Federal, real estate credit societies, savings and loan associations, mortgage companies, investment banks, credit cooperatives, and credit societies may issue LCI.” (NR)
Art. 2º Circular No. 4,000, of April 9, 2020, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on April 13 of 2020, is hereby revoked.
Art. 3º This Resolution enters into force on July 1, 2025.
