Decision on Putting into Circulation of 1 Denar Coins with Modified Features

Pursuant to Article 25 paragraphs 1 and 3 and 47 paragraph 1 item 20 of the Law on the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 158/10, 123/12, 43/14, 153/15, 6/16 and 83/18), the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia Council adopted the following DECISION ON PUTTING INTO CIRCULATION OF COINS IN DENOMINATION OF 1 DENAR WITH MODIFIED FEATURES (Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia No. 71/21)

1. This Decision shall put into circulation coins in denomination of 1 denar bearing the
   minting sign "2020" and with features set in the Decision on issuing and main features of coins in denomination of 1 denar (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 223/15) and the Decision on issuing coins in denomination of 1 denar with modified features (Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia No. 181/19), starting from 1 April 2021.
2. By putting into circulation the coins of item 1 of this Decision in the cash payment
   operations of the Republic of North Macedonia, the coins in denomination of 1 denar, issued pursuant to the Decision on issuing and main features of coins in denomination of 1 denar (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 223/15) and the Decision on issuing denomination structure and main features of coins and banknotes (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 25/93) remain in circulation.
3. This Decision shall enter into force on the eighth day from the day of its publication in
   the Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia.
