Institutions must use the specific reference number of BFIU letters when responding, send hard copies only if requested, and utilize official email addresses for all communications. These instructions are effective immediately to ensure the legal protection of information secrecy under the Money Laundering Prevention Act, 2012, and the Anti-Terrorism Act, 2009.
