Board Resolution No. 043/2020
The Central Bank of Bolivia extends the deadline for Financial Intermediation Entities to deposit usable 10 and 20 Bolivian banknotes from March 31, 2020, to September 30, 2020, restricting these deposits to BCB vaults in La Paz. To facilitate these deposits, entities must withdraw an equivalent amount in usable 50 and 100 Bolivian banknotes from the BCB by the next business day, subject to prior scheduling and express authorization from the BCB's Treasury area. This modification temporarily exempts entities from the standard requirement to deposit unusable notes of these denominations.
