The Central Bank of Bolivia approves a concessional extraordinary credit of Bs1,254,600,000 to the San Buenaventura Sugar Company (EASBA) for productive investment projects. The loan carries a 24-year term with a six-year grace period on principal, an annual interest rate of 0.85%, and requires payment of accrued interest in a single lump sum at the end of the sixth year. Security for the obligation is provided via Non-Negotiable Amortizable Treasury Bonds issued by the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, replacing the guarantee originally offered by EASBA. Disbursements must be completed by December 30, 2012, with annual installments covering both principal and interest commencing in the seventh year.
