Board Resolution No. 056/2011
The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia authorizes the registration of a USD 332 million debt resulting from a financial collaboration contract for the Villa Tunari – San Ignacio de Moxos highway project within the Latin American Integration Association's Reciprocal Payments and Credits Agreement (CPCR-ALADI). The resolution further approves the Central Bank's subscription as guarantor to promissory notes issued by the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance to service this debt, with debit instructions issued by the Ministry or executed automatically. This action is taken under the authority of Law No. 112 of May 7, 2011, which exempts the Central Bank from the application of Article 22 of Law No. 1670.
