The Central Bank of Bolivia modifies Article 19 of its Gold Purchase Regulation to establish a minimum gold purity threshold of 80% for acquisitions from the domestic market. The resolution updates Annex I to define calculation methodologies and premium percentages based on transaction volume, and introduces Annex IV commitment forms for periodic sales of at least 40,001 grams of fine gold. Existing gold sale commitments remain valid under their original terms, and the resolution takes effect upon publication.
