BOARD RESOLUTION N° 148/2026

SUBJECT:
BOARD OF DIRECTORS - APPROVE THE APPOINTMENT OF THE TREASURER OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA

SEEN:

Law N° 1670 of 31 October 1995 of the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) and its amendments.

The Bylaws of the BCB approved by Board Resolution N° 85/2026 of 23 June 2026.

The proposal presented by the Acting President David Iván Espinoza Torrico of 20 October 2026

CONSIDERING:

That the Acting President of the Issuing Entity, by virtue of the power conferred by item 26) of Article 33 of the Bylaws of the BCB, has verbally communicated to the Board that, after carrying out the corresponding curricular evaluation, he proposes the appointment of Eduardo César García Ascarrunz as Treasurer of the Institution.

That, in compliance with the provisions of item 34) of Article 11 of the Bylaws of the BCB, the aforementioned appointment has been submitted for consideration of the Board at its Ordinary Meeting of the date, having been approved by a majority vote of its members.

THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA RESOLVES:

Article 1.- To approve, by a majority vote of its members, the appointment of Eduardo César García Ascarrunz as Treasurer, proposed by the President of the BCB, who shall assume his functions as of 20 October 2026.
