The Board of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves a concessional extraordinary credit of Bs 1,044,000,000 to the National Electric Company (ENDE) for the San Jose Hydroelectric Project, transmission lines, and associated substations. The loan carries a 30-year term with a five-year grace period on principal, an annual interest rate of 1.24%, and a disbursement deadline of June 30, 2016. This authorization is granted under Article 12 of Law No. 291, which exempts the Central Bank from standard public sector credit restrictions for this specific strategic infrastructure financing.
