The Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia issued Resolution No. 52-N to withdraw specific 1999 through 2015 issue banknotes of 500 to 20,000 Drams from circulation. These notes remain legal tender until April 15, 2026, after which they cease to be valid for transactions within the country. Following this date, holders may exchange the withdrawn notes free of charge at the Central Bank and authorized commercial banks without restrictions.
